@PamfromCT : Yes, yelling at me. I was totally shocked with the conversation . I will be telling my friends about this and to  consider purchasing from someone else. I have never been treated like this from a sales person or store owner.

posterior stools are here and it is now complete

i'm sure i once said - before reno -

i want a sparkly chandelair and posterior chairs

there is an official name for them - but i googled the B word and they popped up

i sat in the store for a while to make sure they were comfy

i sat on other stools elsewhere but they didnt hold a candle to these

these were really pricy and i mentioned months ago how i'm going to buy them once the kitchen is complete but looking at other similar stools also - but in my heart - i knew these were the ones

these 2 stools are a gift to me from my younger niece

i'm so proud of her - she is smart, funny, beautiful and sweet

she majored in english and wrote articles and stories -

someties getting paid and sometimes not -

she got an agent last summer and i bought a bookmark when i visited Boston Museum of Art (it looked like her dog) - and planned to give to her once she became a publsihed author

I was able to give it to her this April -  the book is coming out next year

she got paid a few weeks ago - and when she visited me this past weekend

she told me she wanted to gift me the stools - i said no - that is too much or maybe buy me one and i will buy the other - she remembered the store i mentioned in passing - it is not a common store

she went home - sent me this text - making me tear up right now

no one has ever done somethng like this for me

no - that is not true - my older niece took me on vacation bc i'm her fav aunt also

@SouthernBee  Say what?  That woman was yelling at you?

You could tell her that you have a bunch of friends who would like to have a word or two with her!

@cowboy sam, Well  - you are a wonderful mama - and now a wonderful doggie mama!  What more can I say?  And a very special person.

And, may I add, everyone here is very special!  Including the mother of a very special girl kitty who has ignored my dear

Winston!  Oh well, if the two fell in love, who would they live with?  commute?

@cowboy sam i bet it is really nice to have doggies in your life -

i know how you missed your sweetie and at this time would be difficult to have a furbaby - but really nice to have a visit - even though they drank too much water and broke your faucet

😂

@PamfromCT awww Sir Winston and all lhis floofiness

Zoe sends her lubs -.... well... she is aloof - not floofy - just to make that clear

She sends a head boop ❤️

Good evening Preds & Friends....

@Yahooey @SouthernBee @cowboy sam @PamfromCT @Mj12 @geezerette

Sorry if I missed anyone.

This past week has been kind of crazy. Two power outages and internet outage that lasted WAY TOO LONG! Whew 😥. Here's hoping the upcoming week is better.

My DD ( and her cat Beau ) & DH did spend the Labor Day weekend here. DD's husband is currently in Kuwait for National Guard duty for 9 months. We went hiking 🥾 and saw some beautiful waterfalls. ❤️

I'm ready for Fall. 🍁

@Mj12 , I'm so happy you are back posting!

@SouthernBee , I wish I could be so lucky to have "cancellations" of certain visitors. 😜

Hi Y'all: I have had a very special day. Widow friend from church called and insisted we do lunch. I told her felt guilty  going out since not attending church. Ironic that I suggested the area where " That furniture store" is located but in two years the area is experiencing huge development for shopping and restaurants. We decided to eat at Culvers  since it had plenty of handicapped parking and easy to enter the front door. She treated me to everything. We ordered single hamburger with lettuce and tomato and small fries. Then ordered small strawberry milk shake. The weather was beautifully and sunny with a good breeze and 80 temperature. So many other restaurants and shopping areas.

I told her about what happened with the furniture lady. Friend replied that store will be removed from her shopping list. She drove around that area for me to see the changes. I was gone for 3 hours.🤓😯 Worn out and hurting but really enjoyed the day.
