Hi Friends.

I hope everyone is doing well. I returned from my vacay on Thursday. We had a really relaxing time in Plymouth Ma, and then moved up to the Cape Ann area.

We checked out the Mayflower II and it was cool, and caught a glimpse of Plymouth Rock. We like historical places like that.

Everything in Plymouth was walking distance to our hotel. We parked the car and never saw it again until we needed it to get to Gloucester.

We visited Rockport, quaint little town and stayed in Gloucester. I can't tell you how beautiful the ocean was and how relaxing the trip was for the 2 of us. The weather was perfect.

Our hotels were really nice, especially the one in Gloucester. It had a great big pool that wasn't crowded, a golf course right behind the property, (we don't play)  a nice fire pit, billiard room and all sorts of amenities.

Before I go away, I always check reviews of restaurants and hotels and really put time into figuring out where we will eat, and stay and what is in our budget.

The food was wonderful in both areas. I will say, we didn't have one bad meal throughout the whole trip. I was glad about that because sometimes it's hit or miss.

We had a lot of seafood...of course, and I was really surprised at my husband because he's not really a fish eater...but when in Rome!

So I had about 3 lobster rolls at 3 different spots, and they were all spectacular.

We had several fish platters that included shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari, crab, and haddock. I never had haddock and thoroughly enjoyed it, so did DH!

The last night we went to a really nice restaurant and had steak becau we were all fished out by then. 😆

Anyway...we had a lovely stay and I would definitely return, and recommend it to anyone who loves great scenery and relaxation.

So tomorrow, I will need to call on some of that serenity as I will be having my bathroom redone and it will take all week.
I will not be able to use it at all, and each night they will put the toilet back on for use, but no showers or baths.

My son lives down the block so we will go chill there, while the work is being done. We live in an apartment and we only have 1 bathroom.

I hope the work goes smoothly and is done efficiently and timely. It was projected to be done by Friday. 🤞

me upset with groundhog..it dug a deep hole close to my grass  in my front yard and i want it gone!😡🤬

I walked to hardware store Sunday and bought some sprinkle stuff that smells like fox?

I sprinkled a big circle around hole, old stump,in grass  even to areas near street,etc...i used all that was in container!

Will keep" groundhogs, squirrels, etc out of yard.. " I t will not kill anything!"

It is suppose to work...but how will if i know if its works/its gone ???

Wait a few days then fill hole with more dirt? I was told that it wouldn't like smell of predator  and leave soon!???????

Good morning everyone, it's a high humidity and cloudy day on the Cape. Heavy tourist week before school starts, so going out is a nightmare.

@cowboy sam, I was reading this morning that one of the ten drugs that made the list to be more affordable is Imbruvica. My sister takes this for her CLL, does your son have this prescription? It's very expensive so this will help so many people taking this drug.
