@cowboy sam : You had a total work out just changing the sheets.🤗

Our high today was 96 and  different looking from the Canada wildfire smoke.

I have ordered two different phone cases from Amazon that were supposed to fit my Moto 5G Stylus, so frustrating and trying to find another one.

I am so tired because I didn't sleep good last night. I kept dreaming about my brother, he would have been 74 today. I stayed busy and didn't take a nap.

morning @SouthernBee @cowboy sam @loveschocolate @gloriajean @Mj12

@geezerette @MyShadowLove  @dooBdoo @JaneMarple @NEvans2

bummer - rain and thunderstorms again (yesteday also)  so no knitting in the park

i finshed my project using the rainbow yarn - not loving it

the yarn is cotton? or something like that - it unwinds - think string twisted togehter

it does not gel togehter but individual strands - very splitty when knitting

i did a cowl but the pretty pattern is lost bc the colors are vibrant

anyway... will return the rest of the ball (used up 1/3) and someone can do something else with it - here is a pic of what I did and will turn in when i finally go

Good Morning Everyone! Heart

It looks like we may be in for a dry spell soon....sunny days are coming...For the first time since we have lived here, we had some water in our basement....just a limited area so it was easily controlled...We have been in touch with a basement contractor to come for a thorough check throughout our basement and do whatever is necessary to prevent any future problems.

@Yahooey ...I love the beautiful mixture of colors in your scarf...Sorry the yarn was so difficult to work with...The scarf will be so lovely during the dark Winter months.

I'm going to be doing a little planting a little later on as we are in for a (gasp) sunny day!...I have to replace the "Rozanne Geraniums" which haven't been doing so well with all of this rain that we have been having....I will put them in a barrel and see if they recuperate...I will be in and out throughout the day.

Wishing Everyone A Great Day! Cat Very Happy

Preds' Friends....

For anyone interested...LOL

Here is what I planted along our walkway...in the middle area..."Threadleaf Coreopsis Daybreak"....I bought three of them and they are perennials so they will come back each year...They are beautiful and add a wonderful display to our front landscaped area.

I took the "Rozanne Geraniums" and planted them in a barrel...I cut them back a little and we will see if they recuperate.

We are having partial sunshine today and less humid so it is more comfortable being outside.

Just keeping you all updated!...Isn't it exciting!  😂

since today was cooler and i didnt go out for threat of thunderstorms

there were 500 drops

yes - i counted

anyway - decided to make the raspberry jam - not enough for 500 grams (recipe)

so i added some blackberries

big one is for me

tall skinny is for niece when she visits - maybe sunday

and the round is for brother

now.... my supply of blackberries are diministed

will make 1/2 recipe in a few days - need more ripe fruit

brother's friend gave him blueberry jam and apricot jam from hie garden

planning to bake some plain cake

then it is jam city - taste testing...

i also got some store bought (raspberry and apricot) that was in fridge

there will also be vanilla ice cream for those so incline

hoping to get 2 cups of basil to make pesto

some plants are still itty bitty - i stuck them underneath tomato - guess too much shade - some are bigger - so.... fingers crossed

she loves pesto - u can tell - i lubs her - right?

@Yahooey

Hope you all have a nice visi tsoon.Smiley Happy

Your jam looks so delicious...hmmm wondering how you will use yours..??   asking for a friend...perhaps on toast or pancakes,or waffles,or ice cream?

I woke up tired this morning..and have had 2 naps today  and could use another one  perhaps like @SouthernBee  mentioned

maybe  i had too much exercise yesterday taking off bedding...and putting all clean items back on my bed?

So...someone else will finish making scarf that you started?

Will you work on someone elses next time?

@cowboy sam

i made a cowl which didnt use the whole ball of yarn

it was a very large ball - i used 1/3 of it

the cowl has been completed

i am making a headband with the other ball of yarn i got

the brown speckled yarn - it is much better to knit up and the ball of yarn is much much smaller

yes - putting on fitted sheets requires you to be an octopus

dont do too much in hot humid weather and hydrate

@cowboy sam

when we sample the jam on cake - we will be using my jar since it is the largest

when i take it back home - probably with yoghurt or peanut butter sandwich
