@geezerette : Totally agree. So far early morning is best for me. I loaded my CD player with fast pace praise music. The time goes fast. When DH gets up then my schedule changes . I try to do something when DH goes out for lunch. Tomorrow  friend taking me for my mammogram. My primary care doctor said that I needed to do more for me.

More beautiful flowers!  Thanks!

About posting pix -- you wrote:

"I know that you would love for us to post pictures but I have never posted personal pictures online as there have always been warnings and concerns about security issues when doing so."

Regarding personal images, with the new Q forum software platform in summer 2015 it became a little bit safer to post pix from personal devices.

Generally speaking, if we save the images to our device and then upload to the Q, the digital info doesn't share personal data.

However, I'd strongly caution against a copy/paste from a personal email account.

In the past, those have displayed the associated email address(es).

I believe the same is true if we copy/paste from any other personal website space online that has our name or other identifying data.

The bottom line is that it's more secure to:

download those personal pix to the device

and then

upload here using the toolbar icon "Insert/edit image."

When we do that, the website strips the personal info out and your image is secure.

I don't know if I explained that very well!  We'll consider it my first try!😉

@dooBdoo ...It is so great to see you!...Thanks so much for your explanation regarding security when posting personal images...very much appreciated.

It saddens me to read about your struggle with depression...You are such a caring, sensitive and beautiful person and are so highly thought of on these forums, so please know that we are always here for you and I sincerely hope that you have lots of love and support in your personal life also.

Always so happy to see you posting!

dear predsHeart and friendsHeart

Yesterday while waiting for my dd to call me

i did 2 loads of laundry,walked 5 blocks, when she came later we went out for a light lunch.

  we split  a plate of 3appatizers..

i ate 3 of the bonless chicken fingers

and

a few of the small fried pickles and 2 glasses of coke!

She ate the egg rolls w/foods i won't eat!Smiley Frustrated

No shopping and came back to my house later.

After she left i stirpped my bed..put clean mattress pad on plus my summer sheets on bed!

@SouthernBee

When i walk i never worry about how many steps i take...i think about my friend if she is walking w/me or if i go alone. my,. surroundings,flowers, trees,etc.

I would get stressed out if i tried to tell myself i needed x amount of steps a day to walk...and  when i walk without pressure  and  can relax.

Please don't put added stress on yourself🤗

@cowboy sam

That's funny that your neighbor is being critical of your mower guy!😆

I have to agree with her about some of it though--I think my mowers don't cut my yard short enough either and they do go too fast so they miss some spots.

But dependable mowers are so hard to come by around here, so I don't complain.  I'm just grateful they keep showing up once in a while!

It sounds like you had a very nice day with your DD.  And how nice that she changed your bed linens for you.  That's getting to be a lot more work the older I get!😉

Lubs ya! 🩷

to all of preds friends that have lawns

simple solution - get goats

they dont go fast

they are quieter than motorized vehicles

no children will be run over - they might get biten - cant have everything

goats come in a variety of colors and sizes

one will fit you perfectly

thank you for reading this public service announcement

@Yahooey

I used to have a goat.  One was enough.

And I would just be feeding the coyotes around here.

And my dog.  She loves goat poop. 🤢
