Re: @Preds ❤️

[ Edited ]

@SouthernBee ...I love Greek Yogurt and I get the Fa*e Total 0% (the g wasn't accepted...good grief...lol...so I had to type an * in its place but I'm sure you are aware of the brand).

I make different variations and sometimes have it for breakfast or for a snack during the day or evening...I have a  nut mixture that I buy which includes sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, raisins and various nuts...so I add that to it, along with a bunch of blueberries...(Shhhh...sometimes I add just a small amount of miniature dark chocolate chips)...Yummy!

Our local supermarket has these wonderful recipe pamphlets each season and the latest one had a "Tropical Fruit & Yogurt" recipe that I thought to share with you...

2 cups low-fat plain Greek yogurt...

1/2 tsp. almond extract

1 large banana..sliced

2 tsps. fresh-squeezed lemon juice

Some granola...(I use my healthy nut mixture instead)

4 kiwis...peeled and sliced

Small amount of whipped topping for garnish...

In small bowl, whisk together yogurt and almond extract...

In another small bowl, toss banana slices with lemon juice...

Place about  3 tablespoons of granola or nut mixture in bottom of glass...add some bananna slices...1/4 cup yogurt...some kiwi slices...

repeat layers a couple of times and garnish with some whipped topping...

Cover & Refrigerate....Voila'...

You can try different variations of your choice...Delicious!...It's actually a  healthy Trifle Dessert except made in small portions...so you can make it in a glass bowl for several servings if you prefer...That's what I like to do at times.

                  😋

I used to have a goat.  One was enough.

And I would just be feeding the coyotes around here.

And my dog.  She loves goat poop. 🤢

@geezerette ...Aww, what happened to your goat...not the coyotes, I hope?  Cat Sad

That's funny that your neighbor is being critical of your mower guy!😆

I have to agree with her about some of it though--I think my mowers don't cut my yard short enough either and they do go too fast so they miss some spots.

But dependable mowers are so hard to come by around here, so I don't complain.  I'm just grateful they keep showing up once in a while!

It sounds like you had a very nice day with your DD.  And how nice that she changed your bed linens for you.  That's getting to be a lot more work the older I get!😉

Lubs ya! 🩷

@geezerette

Yesterday,  i was finishing triming a shrub on east side of yard where once upon a time my ancient house used to be...when mower came  to mow my yard.

My yard was still "wet" from rain over this past weekend...and my front yard slopes back away down onto  my flat lot in back of house....so it took while for him to mow!

Grass was so wet  but it looks nice being mowed again!

I went out this morning in my flannel pjs and hooded sweat shirt to use my wagon to go pick up all the twigs, and branches i cut off shurb yesterday and shoeved back under the shurb so he could mow around it!

uh..it was" 53 degrees"  out   again, this  morning and still wet grass!

My shoes got wet and so did bottom of pjs.... and i had to pull my wagon slowly down sloping hill to  the burn pile  to empty it!

I am now in warm clothes but my feet are still cold!

Rain is in for cast again.

Poor preds pink peonies still not having any flowers opened...so late this year!Smiley Sad

@Yahooey @MyShadowLove : I prefer the yoplait yogurt. I add some granola for extra crunch but decided to try reducing a few calories in any thing that I eat.

Good Morning Y'all : Dealing with extra stuff. Tuesday evening washed a few clothes and when going to laundry area to put in dryer noticed water on the floor and under the washer and dryer. My laundry closet is very tight plus with  laminate floor. Wasn't planned that way. Laundry area suppose to be in another place and that didn't work.At the time argued with contractor wanted larger laundry closet and he argued standard size.

Oops... hit post by mistake.

My widow friend's brother came over. He unplugged the washer and put towels down and said he would come back Wednesday morning to help. He was the one that installed the laminate and linoleum in the kitchen. Next morning floor is warped. I have two extra boxes of the laminate. Asked friend to enlarge the laundry closet and put tile under washer and  dryer. He said that would be hard to do and messy. I stated will find someone to do something. It was determined that the leak was from the washer and not the plumbing because the wall was dry.

Finally after the friend struggling to pull out the washer and dryer stated he fill find a way to enlarge the area and build me some shelves to put laundry supplies on. So today the appliance company ( not bad ones from the fridge drama)to come and try to determine the problem. Washer still under warranty but will have to pay $89 service call.

Friend noticed the kitchen floor problems from moving fridge around from all the repair attempts , will work on the floor issues. So $$$$$$....... I really wanted my next project to be new carpet.

Yikes!  What a mess.  You sure are having a run of bad luck with appliances!

Hopefully your washer fix will be an easy and quick one.  Thank goodness it's still under warranty.
