@geezerette : My Mom was a great baker but very busy. She tried to have something special every couple of weeks. Her mother,  our big mama lived with us and she tried to have something when we came home from school. We really loved her fried peach pies. Most often was a pan of baked sweet potatoes.

I had a older family friend that when we used to go visit her would make us some and they were so yummy!

Oh the memories of them as i can remember how delicious they were!

Plus she was the sweetest lady...always smiles and laughed with us.

I've also been having a difficult time getting into these forums and am still having issues when I do get in...So let's see how this goes today!...I did have to reset...refresh...and made a change to my password which finally got me in.

In the meantime, I've been thinking of changing my user name and would like your opinions....Here are my four choices..."MyShadowLove."...in memory of my precious Shadow, whose image is my Avatar....or, since I am of Irish/Scottish descent...."Saorise"...one of my favorite female Irish names....or "Slainte"...an Irish greeting...or "Shamrock"...the adorable National Irish flowering plant that blooms tiny flowers.

Okay my Preds' Friends...Start Voting!...LOL

Let's see if this posts okay, as I tried it once and it didn't take...fingers crossed!

Hi Y'all: I have something special to snack on during the football game tonight: Two boxes. DH wanted me to have something special. Already consumed two: Delicious. Gourmet dark chocolate and strawberries. Willing to share with Press Special Friends.🤗❤

@SouthernBee...Yes, I was thinking of just "Shadow" on its own but, for some reason, it seemed like it needed something more added to it....probably just my emotions getting in the way...Whatever turns out to be the winner, I plan on always keeping my precious Shadow's image as my Avatar.

I just want a fresh change to my user name and I can add a "sig line" notating...."formerly known as WildFlowers"...so posters will know.

Okay, so one vote for "Shadow"...I like the Irish names also...such decisions...Voting time ends at midnight tonight...just to give everyone time to cast their vote!...LOL

@SouthernBee ...Oooooh, Yummy!...I love dark chocolate covered strawberries, so I grabbed more than I should have...lol...Thank  you so much for sharing!

When I quoted you, I couldn't use your images, as I wasn't able to reply with them in your post for whatever reason so I had to delete them.

That was very thoughtful of your husband...Try your best to save some of them for the Super Bowl Game tonight...lol
