@Bri369 ...I bet @Yahooey makes a yummy Eggplant Parmesan or Eggplant Casserole...I make both and can just eat a serving of them alone with some warm Italian bread or serve with pasta...Delicious!

Just pretty rhododendrons, azalea's, black eyed Susan's, myrtles, weigela's, magnolias, a few dogwood trees, etc. No pictures yet.

@loveschocolate ...Sounds absolutely gorgeous!...I have a picture of your beautiful lake house in my mind and think of you often, as you are living in my dream house...I told my husband I would love to live near the ocean....or a lake....or a river....or I could settle for even just a brook.   😂

funny -many dont do recipes for "A" singular eggplant that weigh 5 ounces

i didnt germinate eggplant seeds when i did the others since they thrive in heat

so while the tomatoes are flourishing and setting flowers/fruit

the eggplant at that point (since i started a month later) was 3 inches

it shot up when it was July - and this flower became this size eggplant in 2 weeks

they are an asian variety - so it is slender and smaller to begin with

hoping i will continue to get others before it gets too cold for them

they like 90 degree heat - WHAAAT????

my brother's friend - gave me literally 5 lbs worth 2 weeks ago

it was small white eggplant - maybe 5 inches in length

never saw white eggplant before - so he started really early

some suggest spcial heating pad just for plants for the warmth while germinating
