My neighbor is mowing my yard with my mower right now.

So unkown how many more   mowing times,etc??

I'm a littles stressed thinking about it.

If and when it does..i'm hoping that she will use her riding mower to mow my yard..if her mower quits on her...then i'll deal with it then.

I doubt that they will replace hers as they can use a push mower for their small yard.

Just talked to neighbor after she finished mowing  my yard...and it was decided

that when  my mower stops  "not" to replace it  and spend my money..but to get someone  else to mow it for me  .

She was planning on telling me that this would be her last summer for mowing for me  either with mine or her mower.Her riding mower is bad also.They will not replace theirs either.

Her dh plans on retiring next year  and they want to go camping,boating,etc. I told her that i'm happy and hope they do.

My best friends dh offered last year to mow for me...but i told him maybe later.

Well it looks like its later now  and after his

 mower  gets fixed as  it  is in the shop and if i see them this week ask if he wants the job.

@Bri369, Please add me to the good folks praying for your father.  I hope it all goes smoothly, and I also hope his recovery is quick and uneventful.  It’s so hard to see a parent sick.

@cowboy sam, Glad you want to hire your lawn mowing out. 

It’s a good thing to do.  Nice to stay in your home,  but it can reach the point it’s time to relax a bit more.  We hire to have seasonal hard work done, and it’s a big relief.

My uncle left the nursing home to an assisted living place.  He just moved in, and we visited.  It is beautiful!  Quite new place,

his own big room (with kitchenette) and bath.  He has already made friends and says the food is really good.  He is happy, and we are delighted.  They are taking good care of him.

We are finally getting some rain.  Good thing - we need it.  But not nearly as bad as some poor folks in other parts of the country.  Painful to see on the news.
