@Yahooey

Your big adventure sounds like fun...espcially the eating part Cat LOL

I order from TJ Maxx now and then, but have never set foot inside a store!  Sadly, many stores like that in this area look bombed out inside.  No doubt a lack of help and...customers who don't care how they handle merchandise.  That part makes me mad.

Thanks for sharing your adventure...I haven't eaten lunch out in years!  Gotta try it one afternoon.

Hi y'all: I got my exercise today at the commissary. Went early and was in the work traffic and about 40 minute drive. Produce looked better than what's in our area. Purchased big bag of tangerines and some grapes. Big bag of potatoes and sweet onions. Big bag of carrots and a large head of cabbage. Disappointed in the meat department: No turkeys or turkey breast and ham. Only available ribs were the country style and purchased 3 packs. They had the corned beef and that was for me. Purchased 2 roast and ground round hamburger meat. Purchased spices and disappointed they didn't have the Hungarian paprika. Purchased the Goya Ham flavor packets very expensive in my area $1.45. I use the McCormic low sodium gray mix and it was in stock. Finally found the pear halves in the 29 ounce can. DH purchased his favorite root beer and snacks. Like other stores: some shelves were empty or limited selection. It was worth the extra effort and trip. I was worn out when we returned home . I have been resting in my recliner and still waiting for my UPS delivery and supposed to be delivered before 7 p.m. Our city is changing over to the automated garage collection. We received our carts today and DH isn't happy because he wants another garbage cart and we will have to pay.♥️🤗

@PamfromCT : Your exercise statement made me laugh. I have so much exercise stuff: the hand and ankle weights, stretch bands, big variety of dvds for chair exercise. I know what to do and should be doing. I need the energy and motivation to get me out of my recliner and : Just Do It😳🤷‍♀️😀♥️🤗.

@Yahooey, You has yourself one big glorious day!  I guess we could entitle it “Yahooey’s Excellent Adventure.”  I am so proud of you for taking giant steps to recapture your fit and normal life.  And eating out, wowee!

You have inspired me.  I texted DD at work to let her know I is indeed going to craft show with her.  She wants to go on Sunday, so that it is.  It is a huge show, so I will be dressed to hustle, but I doesn’t have roller skates, drat!  Afterwards, I know she will take me out to eat.  I not fussy about food.

This is an excellent juried craft show...Finally!

@SouthernBee, Oh girl, you are no slouch!  Always up, cooking, cleaning, entertaining, etc.  You gets yourself plenty of exercise.  Your shopping trip sounds like a great foodie adventure.

Too bad we all do not live real close.  We could have exercises together (special outfits, sweat bands across foreheads, etc.)

and then go out to eat.

@cowboy sam, My DD signed up for an exercise class on tv.  She does it sometimes very early before work.  She tells me you can walk “in place” inside your home.  That is part of her program.  Interesting!  I wish I lived close to a gym with an indoor walking track (like my DB does) or close to an indoor mall.  We live in the outer burbs, must drive downtown to even get a sidewalk.

@PamfromCT : I wish we could exercise together. I have the walk in place dvd set and can't remember the ladies name. In 2000 when I retired - walked in the local mall but more fun if you have a friend to walk with you.♥️🤗

I have the Leslie Sansone walking DVD's.  I do them all the time.  I know them by heart.  LOL

There's something about her that makes me happy.  I should have her voice in my head all day long maybe I wouldn't get so crabby.

Ya'll had some nice adventures today.
