We have about 1.5 inches of snow, started sleeting on top of it @ 1:30, still sleeting as it gets dark, just in time to freeze it all really hard for tomorrow.  Still have power!

@cowboy sam : We have received a lot of rain and very windy. Got up yesterday morning and it was 35 degrees but very humid yet windy- very strange and cloudy with clouds looking very different but hard to explain. I had a 40% off coupon and ordered from woman within.  One thing about woman within: you can put something in your shopping cart and not order and they will send email with a 40 % coupon. I only order if I have a coupon and extra special when the item is on sale and of course I always wait for the sale price and the coupon😄. The only thing about the petite size- love the legs not being to long but the top being shorter has a tendency to rise up in the back- could not think of a better word.❤️🤗🤗🤗🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥤🥤🥤Stay warm and safe.

@Witchy Woman : I use the same recipe for Chicken Divan. Enjoyed this dish in the 1980's  at a dinner party and it was served over rice. Friend gave me the recipe plus extra serving to take home. The only way that DH will eat this- if I chop the broccoli up.😄😳

I hear you.  I am the big broccoli fan in our house.

However, DH will eat it in this dish and tells me he enjoys it.  Since he always has at least 2 helpings, I believe him.

And, it just so happens my Food Lion grocery store sells bags of frozen chopped broccoli -- and it is really small pieces.

So, by the time it cooks, it really doesn't seem like broccoli

@Witchy Woman : In my area the frozen chopped broccoli is hard to find but when it's available I stock up because a big mess trying to chop up.😄

raining and dreary - the sun came out for 5 minutes and decided to go elsewhere

but not cold - in the 40s

today would have been Betty's 100th

so I heard about giving something to help animals in her honor on this day

I chose Tiny KIttens in Betty's honor

32 degrees here, just enough to keep the 1 inch of ice hanging around over night.  However, we did not lose power yet, and the sun was out a bit.
