quack turned out well - so proud - 

i got burnt on glaze on my stove top - tried baking soda/vinegar overnight

some came off but some stayed on - tried scraping with finger nails ideas??

I have a big chunk for you.  It's even bigger than a slice.  It has fruit in it, so it counts as breakfast. 

Your duck looks so tasty.  Can you soak a towel with hot water and lay it on the stove top?  Maybe it will come up easier?

idk if soak towel would help bc it was soaking inthe soda/vinegar paste - it was still wet when i tried scrubbing it off

maybe @Mj12 can help since she is used to scraping stuff off in construction

Hello Lovelies,

Wowee!  That duck!  That cake!  And with so many other chefs in residence, I am truly humbled.

Our Thanksgiving was lovely at our DD’s and SIL’s home.  It is a big house with a big kitchen.  They are foodies and love to cook and entertain.  All kinds of food, from appetizer spread to desserts.  And then gifts for everyone.  And candy to take home, besides leftovers.  I was so pleased to sit next to SIL’s father, who was trying so hard to be brave.  He must be on oxygen all the time.  

Kiddos will be picked up soon.  DIL said they packed their stuff before the holiday.   Nothing too much planned, and they really love to hang out.  We are flexible!  Got a lighted gingerbread house I bought them for their home decor, and each has a lit deer with snow thingee bought from Valerie at QVC.  For their rooms at home.  Get them something different for their rooms every year.  It makes them happy.
