@PamfromCT : Your dish sounds delicious. Well must confess that I cheated and made my sweet potato casserole with canned yams. The recipe included the praline pecan topping. I always include a dash of orange extract where most people use vanilla. But I dropped the extract bottle and more than a dash went in the dish. Will anyone notice the difference?🤷‍♀️😳 My list of cooking accidents grows. Discovered last night - forgot to purchase rolls. I saved the turkey stock and pieces and hope that I have a pack of turkey gravy mix because this southern girl can't make gravy from scratch. 🦃🦃🦃🦃🍁🍁🍁🍁

As I decided to make a chicken and boxed stuffing mix meatloaf for Thanksgiving (yeah I don't get it either but it is rather good), does anyone have any room at their tables for these two sweet babies>

Turkey breast went in the oven at 11:30. Breast side down, right side up? I didn't know what to do. I put it in breast side down and will turn it over at some point. All your meals sound delicious. I wish we could all sit together and have a meal.

dear predsand family

I went outside in the dark last night and walked all around my lit tree and was in awe over it! I could look through the branches to other side no matter where i stood.

I have has 2 great nights of sleep now!

All your food sounds so good.

I had a surprise visitor last night a neighbor that i seldom see as they use the side door of house next to the alley....ok back to neighbor...her name is Cady and she handed me a home made pumpkin pie!

This morning i decided i was going to cut it into squares and put 2 pieces of pie in a container to freeze, well i have 3 containers with total 6 squares of pie for whenever i want it later!

I had some left over crust and filling that i ate for breakfast!

Did not want to take to grandaughters today to share!

Dinner is to be a 3pm and a grandson is going to come and take me over
