Like a couple of the group, I have never had blood pressure problems or cholesterol issues.  But I am thinking I should post a huge picture of myself on the refrigerator door, taken from the rear.  We really don’t have kids coming on Halloween, but I still want some candy in the house, just in case.  I should buy something I don’t like.  But what would that be?

@PamfromCT  The only thing I don't like is, there's nothing I don't like. So, good luck.

Maybe I'd say, Black Licorice but I'd even eat that in a pinch!

I have so much catching up to do on this thread.  Y'all have been busy and chatty.

I've been dealing with my dad this last week.  He had a cat scan a while back for a hernia, and they found a tumor.  On top of that, he's had 2  melanomas removed from his head.  He's really been dealing with so much this year.  His left lung fills with fluid and they need to drain it.  He takes care of one thing and then something else pops up.

He's 90 and he's been a diabetic for over 50 years.  He's had 2 heart attacks and 3 strokes.  He walks every day, he reads 3 newspapers every day, he's as sharp as a tack.  He never complains, never feels sorry for himself, takes care of his daily needs - he's perfect.

Monday, they finally were able to get a biopsy of this tumor.  We got the results last night that it's malignant.  The good news is that it's a very slow-growing and non-agressive cancer.  Monday, he goes for a PET scan and hopefully it hasn't spread.  We'll no more after we get the results of that back.  The oncologist said that if it hasn't spread, they will discuss what his options are.  They may remove it or leave it and watch it.

I am truly being optimistic and very positive about this.  I hold my breath every time something happens with him.  He always seems to bounce back, and he has so much life left in him.  I know he can't live forever, but this week really has been difficult.  This is not a road I want to travel down.

I love you all and I just needed this time to process everything.  Heart

sometimes the soil is so compacted that the water will skim off as opposed to soaking in - i think watering a housepalnt once a week is good - a good watering

you may want to water a little at a time to acclimate the soil -

idk - really

i'm hoping ur washing machine parts come in soon and can be fixed once and for all

veggies? did u say veggies..... stay tuned

@Yahooey : I have never seen a Brussels sprout stalk but me don't like the brussel sprouts . Never had the Myers lemons but just purchased the Myers lemon cake mix to try.004353A1-DCBD-44FA-A560-5364F748FCFA.jpeg

I always keep dark or milk chocolate chips on hand for baking.

I can see why traveling on a train with groceries could be difficult. ❤️☕️
