I've never had a meyer lemon either. I've smelled one, and it does smell different than a regular lemon.
Is there a guaranty?

Do they flower first? Will they turn yellow? How do you know when they're ready.
I know zero about any plants.
@Bri369 they do flower first - a white flower. I honestly don't know if these green ones will turn yellow. I doubt it, they have been green for a while. I think when they produce fruit that is like egg-yolk color, it's ready. Hopefully next year or the year after. I feel like a new parent babying this plant
My quats love indoor plants, much nicer than litter box.
Dead in a week! 😕. I gave up!

Good Morning Preds and Preds very special friends: Ok can't sleep so I will post : My Recipe for Peach Cobbler
1 stick of butter
3/4 cup to 1 cup of sugar cause some like a little sugar or really sweet
3/4 cup of Self Rising Flour or up to 1 cup if you like a lot of crust
3/4 cup of milk plus juice from the peaches
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Peaches : several options for this recipe
Can peaches= 29 ounce can plus keep the peach juice.
Fresh peaches= clean, peel , core and slice or chop about 8 peaches to = 2 cups of peaches. Mix peaches with a cup of sugar and a cup of water to produce peach juice.
Frozen peaches= ( the ones I put in the freezer) drain and keep juice.
If using frozen peaches from the store: add amount of sugar you prefer and a cup of water to produce juice. Drain and keep juice. Special note: add cinnamon to peaches. If you don't like cinnamon omit but if you like cinnamon this really makes a difference in the recipe.
Mix sugar ( listed in recipe) with the flour. Add the milk slowly to prevent lumps. I use a wire whisk.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put the butter in a deep baking dish ( 9x13). Place in oven for a couple of minutes to melt the butter.Remove from oven and pour flour mixture over the butter. Important: Do not stir together.
Spoon the peaches on top and don't stir. Pour the peach juice over this and do not stir. Batter will rise to the top during baking.
Bake 30 to 45 minutes until the crust is set and lightly Golden color. Serve warm with ice cream. If you really like a lot of peaches: You can add two more cups of peaches plus one cup of peach juice. Enjoy.

My six-month-old kitten loves to jump in my two remaining houseplants and just lay there for hours. Can't get him to stop.😖 I guess they're not long for this world.
He uses his litter box for what it's intended and a playground too!🤢🤦♀️
