Candied orange peels remind me of the holidays. My mom would buy them and put them in a candy dish. Some would be dipped in chocolate.
@SouthernBee They are.
She would get them Fannie Mae Candy.
I've seen recipes for them. I'm sure Martha Stewart makes them. LOL
I'm sure Martha Stewart grows the oranges! 🍊

@Yahooey ! 🙋♀️ I have a Meyer lemon tree I bought here in the spring. I have it outdoors in a planter and will move it indoors soon. I have 2 green lemons growing on it now lol. I read that it'll bear fruit after a year or so. 🍋

Martha Stewart grows them. They're supposed to be the best lemons.
I don't know of an online nursery. I came up with Spring Hill Nursery. Now I want one. LOL

Do they flower first? Will they turn yellow? How do you know when they're ready.
I know zero about any plants.

@Bri369 they do flower first - a white flower. I honestly don't know if these green ones will turn yellow. I doubt it, they have been green for a while. I think when they produce fruit that is like egg-yolk color, it's ready. Hopefully next year or the year after. I feel like a new parent babying this plant ![]()

I was reading that it takes up to six months to ripen. That's a long time. I'm too impatient for things like that. LOL

I just went to my order history to find the item number - they don't sell it anymore. It was a Roberta's Quick Fruiting Meyer lemon patio tree.

@Bri369 I'm too impatient too but I don't know, I got pulled in by the presentation.
I won't be making limoncello for a while.
