@loveschocolate ...How good it will feel to finally have everything moved to your lovely lake home...If your "uninvited guests" show up, just leave the unpacking for them and head to the lake with some of that booze! 

My husband has a cousin whose MIL can be quite intrusive and during one visit to her home, she actually started rearranging some of the living room furniture!

Yes...er ... I have .. blush ☺️.

You can order some or all of it, I confess I love parsnips, pour that gravy right over my tofu loaf!  But, those turnips will not be coming here!  You and Mr Yahooey may have mine.

You could bake your potatoes the morning before.  Pretty sure this is what we will be having.

@cowboy sam& everyone ...Over the past month, we have had sightings of a couple of bobcats in our neighborhood, so we haven't seen the usual activity of squirrels, chipmunks, and bunnies, etc...I like to think that they all sensed the danger and headed for safer pastures.

They aren't all that big and are really beautiful...I googled to get more information about them and the article stated that it is rare for them to attack humans...However, if one does happen to come by while we are outside, it said to start making loud noises to prevent them from becoming too comfortable around humans...I told my husband I would think that would startle them to the point of feeling threatened so we have just been keeping a watchful eye out and prefer staying quiet...lol

We haven't seen anymore sightings within the past week so, hopefully, they have moved on...We are also starting to see the usual natural habitat of chipmunks, squirrels, bunnies, birds and doves return so that is a very hopeful sign.

That is Exactly what I wanted to know.  In the area, Means What, circling overhead, raiding the fridge, napping on the sofa, using up all the hot water, hogging the TV, letting the cats out?

Could DH Maybe say, this isn’t a good time to visit?  WHO visits in the middle of someone’s move?

I'm still shaking from my latest adventure yesterday...so close to me&friend getting hit by a car   but a police officer in his patrol car saw it all happen!

We always stop before crossing any streets  even side streets...

We had stopped and nothing..stepped off brem to walk  and friend yelled at me and grabbed my arm...a car was coming around  the corner  soo fast and close to where we were and i heard tires squeeling and saw red car go past me...i swear i could have touched it!

I might have yelled? i don't remember but i did see the police car nearby and officer had to stop his car to avoid hitting it as it came near us!

Driver in red car saw police car and immediatley pulled over..as the officer followed it then  stopped a car length behind it and then put the police car lights on..

Friend and i were shook but  unharmed  as then we crossed the street and kept walking..and came back home...

Me..thinks a driver might have gotten a ticket or 2!  We hope so.

A bobcat...hmmm  but maybe like you it decided to move on to somewhere else away-far away from you!

I saw Mr. Buddy the neighbors cat early this morning walking across the street into neighbors yard. I was getting worried about him....but think he looks better once again...maybe it was too hot for him to eat much?/I 'm not a cat mom..always a dog mom.
