oh, that is scary @cowboy sam

i'm just glad both of you are okay

several years ago - my 92yr old dad walking with a cane was crossing a one way street

the driver had to cross a 2 lane intersection and hit him - there is a traffic light

so either he thought that by the time he got there - my dad would have crossed

who knows - bc he claims that my dad crossed against the light

uh okay...

the driver didn't leave the scene but was driving with his dead father's insurance

the car was registered under driver's name but the policy was under his deceased dad's name

maybe bc of this - he coulndt get insurance - that a$ $

((( cowboy )))  rest up w/cola - maybe Buddy will rub up against you lol

@cowboy sam ...Whoa, that was a close call...Accidents can happen so fast...Thank goodness, you and your friend are okay.

I'm happy to read that Mr. Buddy is doing well...How old is he?...I worry that he is allowed to roam freely outside...Do his owners have a pet door installed on the garage door so Mr. Buddy can have a safe area to go to?...Do they make sure that he is safe indoors at night?...So many questions...lol...but I love animals and worry about their care and I'm "nosy"...lol...I feel better knowing that he has you keeping a watchful eye over him.

@Drythe ...What is the difference between a Vegan and a Vegetarian?

I love a variety of roasted vegetables and can easily have just a dish of them with warm French or Italian garlic bread for dinner...Yummy!

@MyShadowLove

Yes,Buddy is kept inside overnight  and if they will be gome most of the day  or possible rain,etv. the neighbor leaves building that he stores his lawn mowers etc, in  he will leave raise the door up a few inches for Buddy to into.

I have seen Buddy's mom out calling for him if a sudden storm is brewing to take him inside their house.

Buddy must be getting up there in years now..maybe 14-15 years or so?  When they leave him to go visit the daughter who lives out of state..they have a vet they have had for years to board  him.

@cowboy sam

dad didn't pass bc of the accident

he had a concussion on his head - bleeding into brain

he just wasn't all there in the head- after rehab to get him to walk

he was forgetful and confused at times- could be age - could be the accident

@loveschocolate ...How good it will feel to finally have everything moved to your lovely lake home...If your "uninvited guests" show up, just leave the unpacking for them and head to the lake with some of that booze! Cat LOL

My husband has a cousin whose MIL can be quite intrusive and during one visit to her home, she actually started rearranging some of the living room furniture! Cat Surprised

@MyShadowLove 😳

@MyShadowLove @Yahooey and all....this weekend I will be moving down there pretty much permanently with my kitty's in tow. DH said his parents would be around the area that week. 😡

I told him I had unpacking to do, I would not be lonely and the cats will be "adjusting". Of course, they will do whatever they want to do. I need to stock up on booze! It's a dry county! I'll need it for their unannounced "visits"!

@loveschocolate

does the area mean ur kitchen?

askin' for @MyShadowLove cuz she's nosy

@Yahooey   @loveschocolate  @MyShadowLove

That is Exactly what I wanted to know.  In the area, Means What, circling overhead, raiding the fridge, napping on the sofa, using up all the hot water, hogging the TV, letting the cats out?

Could DH Maybe say, this isn’t a good time to visit?  WHO visits in the middle of someone’s move?

Loves, dear, have you changed those door locks?

@Yahooey , not yet. I haven't been down there since the end of July and DH hasn't done it yet....not that I expected him too. BTW, they crashed our closing so ...... showing up during the move would be something that I would EXPECT them to do. 😡🙄
