@SouthernBee wrote:@Bri369 : Smuckers has the orange marmalade sweeten with Splenda. DH friend is a diabetic. Considering trying this and slightly increase the hot peppers. Thought I would just make it and not mention the Splenda😀. Haven't purchased any ingredients but adding everything to my next shopping list.
I don’t like hot, hot things, but I can see that this recipe would be good for those who do, and less work for you! 🌶
Probably I would leave the onions, lightly diced, in the recipe just because I think it would make the flavors richer, but what do I know, and it would make more work for you.
Thank you for the recipe, and do share copies with your gifts. hint, hint.

@Bri369 : Yuck! My DH previously worked for a pest control company and I would be asking him to come help...my hero. The other night after the rain- I went to take my shower and a huge flying roach was sitting on the hand held sprayer when I opened the shower door and quickly closed. Called for DH - please hurry and help! That was one fast shower because I kept looking around and afraid something would crawl out of the drain. Me one big scaredy-cat 😳.

Well, I'm a big scaredy cat too. My fear is mice. I won't be able to sleep if I know one is around. We had some in the garage last year. That was a nightmare for me. If I see something out of the corner of my eye, I scream. Lol

@Yahooey I haven't visited this forum in a couple days so I just read the posts about your mom. Please don't feel like you've let her down in any way. We can only do what we can do. As someone else said, be her daughter, not her nurse. At this time be there for her and let the medical professionals do the medical stuff. My family and I went thru something very similar with my dad seven years ago. It was the best decision we made to send him to a nursing home and let the professionals take care of his medical needs and we took care of his emotional needs. As much as we didn't want to do that, we had to be realistic. Sending thoughts and prayers your way.❤️🙏
