@cowboy sam : Ordered set of DVDs as a gift for one of my special friends that I see every couple of weeks. She has wanted them but can't afford plus she doesn't have cable or internet. Sadly she was just diagnosed with breast  cancer and going thru more test on Wednesday. I haven't told her because I wanted to surprise her.

Yesterday wasn't a good day. Received my second Covid shot yesterday morning. I have a sore arm and I was either extremely cold or hot during the day.

I decided when I returned home to text my friends two daughters. I explained that I understood if they didn't want to talk with me but please just let me know something. The oldest daughter texted me back- Stated her mother was very happy and healthy and please honor their privacy😳🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.... still don't know where she is. My other friend that knows the manager of the retirement place- said the family is very private and can't release info. She said that none of the residents are talking🤷‍♀️

At least you heard back something about your friend, that she's okay. 

Try to get some rest today.  Hope you're feeling better

I'm sure your friend knows you're thinking of her and wishing her well.

@cowboy sam  Age, fooey!  You know how any animal can make one's life fuller. They bring such pleasure. You of all people know that.  I had 2 dogs. A Yorkie and a Labradorite . The only problem I had was, they would fight under the bed😱. It was sooo hard to get to them and stop them😜. Aside from that, my Yorkie was no different than any other dog except for his big mouth outside. He thought he was as big as a husky! Yorkie tend to be that way. All dogs give unconditional love but Yorkies, even more if that's possible.

As far as training them, yes it's a pain but a wonderful pain to have.  I know someone that trained their dog to go outside and on the wee wee pads at the same time. They didn't want to walk the dog at night. So, they had the best of both worlds. Maybe you could train the dog to just go on the wee wee pads and then and if you go for walks, the puppy will also go outside.

Think about it. We all have to do what we think is best for ourselves but think about it.

@cowboy sam  My Yorkie was small to med size and did not have long hair. Some do and some don't.
