my whole family have been fully vaccinated except for the 2 in their 20s

they both got their first shot and the 2nd dose in the next 2 weeks

here are our results

Pfizer - me, mom, sil, older niece, older nephew - all had sore arm for both doses

Moderna - sis, bil, db - sore arm 1st shot -

2nd dose - chills, fever, sore arm for a few days  (sis and bil)

2nd dose - chills, sore arm - next day and then all is well (db)

good luck friend

Hello, good to see you.

My DH, 94 year old Dad, close friends, and family are all vaccinated.

Long story short, not one of us had anything like those ‘hidden’ results.  Some sore arms, a few headaches, some had short term chills, I had a low grade fever for 12 hours, nothing major.

@MyShadowLove, Welcome back. I really would encourage you to get the vaccine.  No matter what you do in life, there are always some risks.  But consider how many millions of folks have done this.

As I got each shot (Pfizer), I thanked the nurse afterwards and said that she should be blessed for what she is doing.  After my second, I felt like a million bucks.  To be spared serious illness, or worse.  And like everyone, we are excited about slowly beginning our life anew.

I only felt very tired the day after my second shot.  A good excuse to take it easy.

But it really is your decision.  As an old lady, I just speak my mind, so humor me.
