Another hot day here again. I had to put the AC on last night. I know I wouldn't have been able to sleep. Starting tomorrow it's going to be getting chilly again - 50s for the rest of the week.

Yes, the temps have been bouncing all over the place here, too, never know what to wear or whether the heat or air conditioning will be on. More rain moving in, think I heard storms expected tomorrow.

Crazy weather is the norm now. In the past few years we've seen more of those annoying orange bugs that look like lady bugs... they used to appear only in the late summer, now every time the temps go up a bit they show up everywhere sometimes in massive swarms. They are a major nuisance.

I've got no family news to report, but I think this may be good news!

Yes, I agree, language is so tricky. It's a wonder any of us ever understand one another at all! And as you say, especially when we are anonymous. I have been so much appreciating the caring and generally upbeat nature of this thread. I've only discovered you all lately, but you have been so gracious and hospitable to me.

Well, we all face challenges and feel all kinds of feelings as our lives unfold, but there is such a powerful effect when we choose what to focus on and not let all that control us. It's worth the effort. And it's a lifelong project, minute by minute. Isn't that great? There is no limit to how much I can contribute to my own happiness and wellbeing. And I love it that it always starts with where I am right in this moment, not some place I tell myself I wannabe or shouldbe.

So thanks again to all for your good wishes. I'm sure it makes a difference to my family. I know it does to me. Seriously. And my best wishes right back! Or as some of you say, lubs ya.
