Eastern edge of the Piedmont, sort of  between Charlotte & Raleigh.  90 min from the Blue Ridge, 90 min from the Atlantic!  LOVE IT 💙.

I have been following your planned relocation with interest.  As a 15th generation North Carolinian, have family (cousins you know) 😉 all over the state, many in your new area.  

Hope you love it here, and speak well of us!

I changed my mind..i went for a walk after all yesterday.

Started down my sidewalk  and neighbor popped her head out her door..to see if i wanted to walk.i told her yes thats what i was going to do..so i waited a few minutes..so she could join me.

Walked through a small subdivision near us and out of it was my youngest sons house..saw my 26 yr grandson in side yard..told him i wanted to hug him..he told me" no" he couldn't hug me!

I stopped in the street asked why not?

His oldest brother was in quarrentine-his " girlfriend" was told day before(Friday) she had covid virus! 

Said ok...walked in street in front of their house  and my son was sitting outside... he in his yard  me a distance away and we talked for a few min,Said oldest son was unhappy and couldn't work until 10 days and wait to see if he gets the virus or not!     So they were off limits for hugs

But,my neighbor and I walked a few more blocks and circled to around to come home...we got a nice longer walk in and it felt good!

Today..will wait and see later as its still dark outside too early yet.
