@cowboy sam : Well - I had purchased bananas early in the week- very green and put foil on stems. Wanted to make DH banana pudding for Valentines Day but just looked and need to make it today.

Yep- the thought of doing more purging and moving stuff for new carpet......need another big stash of energy.🤷‍♀️

Ahem... my grandmother used to say, ‘when snow lies around,

it’s calling for more.’

@cowboy sam : DH always orders to go plate for me. Today included my vegetable plate with grilled chicken and sugar free chocolate pudding which I saved for my evening snack.

We really need new carpet but with this virus 🤷‍♀️.Carpet is past due needing replacement. I really wanted more laminate flooring but DH hates it. The original carpet is Berber. I have two friends that do floors and willing to give great deal since business has been slow. We need to replace the den, living room, hall and computer room.🤗❤️

@SouthernBee

Maybe a compromise?  More Laminate with area rugs in strategic places.  I know area rugs can be a tripping issue, but maybe 5x8 for his Den?

+++ Laminate is easier to keep clean,

        Less likely to cause falling/ tripping, easier to use walker or            cane

       Better for people with allergies.

Good evening Preds and friends! I go to the dentist AGAIN tomorrow. 😞

Saturday, Covid vaccination number one. I work at a school, so we get to go. It's the Pfizer vaccination.

Father in law is in the hospital. Went night before last. Supposed to have gallbladder surgery today. Only one visitor allowed....my mother in law due to Covid. She doesn't drive.

Brother in law was just diagnosed with colon cancer and will need to have his large intestine removed. He's 62 years old.

Now, ain't I a bright ray of sunshine?

I feel like a "chocolate" binge is coming. 😝

Oh, dear, @loveschocolate.   I'm far behind and will be very slow catching up...  just saw this and wanted to send my prayers for you, for your family, and for their health care team, too.❤️
