@Bri369, I know your hubby will be fine soon.  This cr-p just takes its time running its course.  Even for my DD, also with a mild case back in March, it did.  It will go away!

@SouthernBee, Your ways of peace and prayer are greatly appreciated.  I am sure your home will look lovely for Christmas.  Our outside is done.  Now for the inside.  Eeks.

Do you make house calls?

DD’s kitty Hemie went to the vet, got a variety of meds, and

is home sleeping quite a bit.  

@Yahooey, You jus is the funne one here.  Your post shows we need more kitties around everywhere to control things.  Me thinks.

i went into the city yesterday to meet my friend at Bryant Park

the vendors were few and the one i was looking for - hand turned olive wood utensils was not there - thought i was going buy it for my rooster pot - next year

had a very nice lunch inside at Ole and Steen  - oh, delish sandwiches and latte

it is a Danish chain - with branches in England, Paris and very new in NYC - 

the flakiest of pastries - no joke 

I had the sandwich warmed up

mushroom, charred broccolini, parsley pesto, goat cheese on focaccia

I know i'm going on and on and my friend had the roasted acorn squash on focaccia 

(idk what the other stuff is since it is a holiday special and I can't find the full bio)

she has never been there - i have only eaten on the go when i would buy, walk and eat but usually a pastry and latte

santizers all around us - most tables are gone so we distanced ourselves from each other - had a very nice chat since outside at the park was just too cold

we each bought a take out pastry which I will eat this mornign with cawfee after I finish posting

I haven't seen her since Feb and she is the one I was calling everyday for support - 

we were each other's support - venting, laughing, she lives in Jersey

then we parted and this is her first time back in the city - I have been back several times for dental, and other doc appts 

I went to TJ and bought a few things - strolled in TJ Maxx and bought a package of  Teavana - walked around Michaels and headed home

she strolled and bought stome stuff at Jacks - a discount store with lots of odds and ends at good pricing - kinda a dollar store but NOT a dollar - she lubs that store

she called me that night and told me again how it was so much fun

we didnt do a lot when u really think about it

but to see a friend - doing something a bit normal is good for the soul

@Yahooey, Thank you!  I think Hemie should write a book about his (mis)adventures.  He has an area on his tail where the fur is gone.  Hmmm.  Wait for Hemie’s book—everyone else on the planet seems to have written one now.

Your day out with your friend sounds so perfectly lovely.  It is so much fun to be out and about, different food, different surroundings.  DH and I miss going to a very popular NY deli restaurant about one half hour from where we live.  It’s always been a favorite, fairly large, and hugely popular.  A huge array of food, always delish.  Always packed with people.  I Lubs their chicken pot pie!
