@loveschocolate wrote:Good morning Preds and friends. I NEED 2020 to be over. Now.
My brother was admitted to the hospital for a stroke work up. Yesterday he had blurred vision, a headache and couldn't form words. It did pass, but once in the hospital his blood pressure was sky high. He's having more tests today. He's very healthy so this came out of nowhere. He's only 58 years old. Prayers needed. 🙏
I'm praying for your dear brother, @loveschocolate, and for his medical team. Love and (((gentle hugs))) to you.❤️

but it will just turn into a big 🌳 fire

I posted this Sandra Boynton pic at the end of December on a New Year thread and now when I look at it I think she was prescient! I was looking forward to the new year, too.... little did we know...

this was the kit I gifted myself for my BD present - it was a bad time in early April in NYC and I needed a cheer me up
Beautiful, @Yahooey! You are talented!

yesterday, my house phone rang
callerID..showed my name and phone numer as the caller...i know a spoofing..
but
i pressed the block button..and message asked if yes or no to block the number.. then i pondered then pressed no!
Question i need answer to.. if i "had" pressed " yes"
would i have blocked my own number?
or
the spoffers number???
lubs ya
I'm pretty sure it would block your number. It's okay to block your own number, @cowboy sam, unless you want to call yourself from your own number... which isn't likely and you always could unblock yourself if you needed or wanted to.🤔😊
Those spoof calls are illegal and a nuisance. I'm lucky that my cell number seldom gets them, and my back-up VoIP phone only gets a few and Nomorobo blocks nearly 100% of any that do come along.
lubs ya back!❤️

Any news on your brother that you can share with us??
Sending you more ((hugs)) and prayers for you, brother and family

@cowboy sam , his carotid artery ultrasound, CT scan, EKG and blood work was fine. He did have a TIA, was discharged and will have to wear a Holter monitor. Take a baby aspirin daily. They can't figure out why he had a TIA, so hopefully they will get answers soon.
Thank you all on this thread for the thoughts and prayers. ❤️
