I just took a walk (it only seemed like the right thing to do after having bacon). Then I ran the leaf blower on the deck. I think I'll suit up and head to the store - I want to make potato salad today and the plants in the backyard aren't ready!

@Yahooey  I have never had a duck egg. Sounds so good and different! However would leave less room for bacon, so it's a no go for moi.

@Yahooey @I wonder where your niece got the duck eggs.I have never seen them in stores near me.Is the egg much larger?I don't know why but as soon as you said richer my stomach said no to the duck egg.You egg muffin sounded really interesting.

i am going for a walk,drive and have some housework planned...same as every day lately.Is it too hot or humid for your walk?I think chili sounds delicious and I love meals that have leftovers.

I have seen odd offerings at Whole Foods - an ostrich egg and others

My niece bought them from a farmer's market

the brown egg is extra large next to a duck egg (don't know how they are graded)

@Yahooey  your duck egg sandwhich sounds delicious.  Sometimes I crave an Egg McMuffin.  You can order them with just the egg whites here.

Nothing going on here.  The troops are getting restless here.

Those ostrich eggs are crazy huge..need a special refrigerator to store.Lol
