Delaney....Yes, I did see your post back to me and I appreciated it so much. I know how hard it is to get back. I have relatives and old friends looking me up and have been trying to catch up with my emails so it's kind of hard to keep up. I know you understand. I think many of us have that same problem. I would say it's a good problem to have...knowing so many care.Smile I just hope if I miss someone or fail to get back to them....they will understand.

Thank you for all your prayers. Please pray for my husband who has COPD. It is causing both of us to be depressed. I pray for new interests and a new interest in life. I pray for each of you here.

Smile Good to know that you saw my reply to your post, JUBILANT. I click on the last reply on these long ongoing threads, and so have often missed posts on previous pages. That can be hurtful, especially to those under stress. I'm trying to be more careful.

Yes, I do definitely understand and I am rejoicing in your blessings of many friends who care! We had prayed for your support as you care for your parents. Now we'll continue to pray Callie receives all the help she needs, too. Bless your daughter for being part of that!

All of you are in my daily prayers - and I thank you all for keeping this prayer request thread active. More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.

Thank you for all your prayers. DH had retinal detachment surgery on Monday and his surgeon said the surgery went well. He had follow-up visit with surgeon on Tuesday (today) to check his eye and ensure there was no internal bleeding. The tear was repaired and a gas bubble was inserted to aid in the healing process. Right now his right eye is extremely blurry. When the surgeon's assistant held up 5 fingers he could not see them. When she waved her hand he could see movement but didn't know it was her hand. He is using OWL Face Down equipment (rented) for several days and must keep his face down 24 hours a day except to use bathroom and eat quickly. After several days he may return equipment and is allowed to lay on his right ear/side. Recovery from retina surgery is a very long process, but the surgeon is hopeful he will have a 90% success rate and that his vision will return. Please pray for patience. This is a difficult journey.

You can count on it, Anika. So sorry. My BIL went through this last year. I pray your husband comes through just as well as he did.

A little reminder here, for those of you praying for ShowMe, too. Her second chemo treatment will be on tomorrow (Wed) morning.

Prayers said for maureen5 and her husband with COPD.

Continued prayers for J.C.'s complete recovery.

Still remembering Gloria's daughter, Darla in prayer for relief from the back pain and success with a teaching position.

Have added Callie for all the help she needs in her recovery process.

My sister-in-law, K.Q. is critical now with multiple organ failure. Thank you for your prayers for her and my brother, Eddie during this process.

Anika, I will pray for your DH. I wish him all the best. Be assured of my prayers for him. Safe travels to and from the hospital too.

Thank you for your prayers. We did have safe travel to/from the hospital which is 100+ miles round trip. I drove all the way despite the fact the hospital is in a city with lots of traffic and cars, buses, trains, etc. whizzing by. DH was proud of me and I was proud of myself considering we live in a small rural community. I think God was/is on our side.

Is there any update on your eye problem? I'm praying for you too that healing will occur. Take care. (((((Hugs)))))
