Anika, thank you for the update on your hubby. I had prayed for him during and after surgery, so it's wonderful to know that he is okay and can return to a more normal life. I had scar tissue develop after cataract surgery, but the doc just zapped it with his laser in the office. Didn't hurt a bit and it's gone. Thank you for posting on KS. I'm sure what you shared with Bobbisue will bless all who read it.

I had you pray for Jean who had stage 3 bladder cancer and they successfully removed the bladder. I am a friend of her daughter. She was doing great, then starting having pain they couldn't control. Her daughter found out last week that the cancer has spread through her body and that she is terminal. They called Hospice in late last week. My friend is grief stricken. I would ask for prayers for both my friend and her mother if you will.

Our next door neighbor's brother died last night in a horrific car accident in central PA. He was only 20 years old. Please pray for CW and her family. Thank you.

DH and I lost a good friend yesterday. LZ had been diagnosed with ALS, a horrible disease, a year and 8 months ago following a series of medical tests. DH and LZ had been Boy Scout leaders together a number of years ago and enjoyed day camping and overnight camping and teaching the fundamentals of scouting to all of the scouters in their troop. LZ was a wonderful family men and I am requesting prayers for his wife and children and his extended family and friends.
