I am sickened by what is happening in Ramadi. I think we all need to pray earnestly for these people. Yet another genocide. It breaks my heart.

It's been some time since I've visited this wonderful thread, but was drawn to it today for several reasons.

First, I started reading current prayer requests and tears formed in my eyes and were soon running down my cheeks. It made me feel that in the greater scheme of things, my requests of the Almighty were but a pittance of what I had read.

But life's challenges continue and for me that is presently Day 17 of a severe chronic migraine I have had for 31 years and severe chronic back pain as a result of a work-related injury. On a happier note, we learned yesterday that our daughter and son-in-law will be blessed with the birth of their second child around January 24, 2016. (We will be married 47 years on January 25th.)

For my daughter, I would ask that you pray for an uneventful pregnancy and a swift labor & delivery, as her labor with her first full term child was 85 hours. Also, she had lost a previous pregnancy. For myself, I pray for pain remission.

Thank you for your caring attention to the needs of all who visit here with pain and woe in their minds and hearts.

No request is too small, sfnative. Your problems and needs are important to God. I said a prayer for your headaches and back pain. I hope you will realize some relief soon. I also prayed for your daughter. Usually the second time around is not so long. Wouldn't it be nice to be blessed with that baby on your 47th! We are right behind you at 45 yrs. in July.
