I would be kind of scared if I won hundreds of millions.  Afraid of kidnapping...all the stuff that goes with super wealth.  But not scared enough to turn it down!

I think she was pushed quite hard by the Mass lottery officials to come forward. The gum chewing was a nervous response to being at a press conference and the whole new experience. They showed the house where her apartment was with  state trooper outside. Surprised they did not post her address. Too much.

Her name was going to become public the minute she collected the winnings.  If she had not come forward she would have had all kinds of press camping with satellite trucks in her parking lot  trying to get an interview with her.  This way, she took care of quite a bit of  that nonsense.  I am sure she was stunned to learn she had won and also quite nervous during the interview.  Heck, I would be a quivering mass of protoplasm!  lol  I wouldn't be able to fathom winning that much money. 

At any rate, congrats to her!!
