Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

My niece just got my Christmas card which was mailed 12/11 & she lives two towns away from me. My QVC package got to a USPS center in my state but was never delivered.

@Foxxee Did he tell you that or are you putting words in his mouth?

How rude a reply is this?

Not as rude as your original comment. BTW, what do you do for a living?

Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

Update on my package delivery !  I was checking my ring camera this morning and saw a neighbor from upstairs place a package under the mailbox for my floor apartments late last night.  I decided to take a look at the package and low and behold my name and address was clearly on the box !!  I looked back at my ring from yesterday and the time the package was noted as delivered and I saw a person wearing dark clothing come into the building with a package  but I was unable to identify as a postal worker on the ring camera and she went directly upstairs did not check addresses then she returned and out the door.  How the heck she didn't see the address is beyond me !! It was the QVC label clear as day !!  I called QVC this morning and canceled the replacement, told if it's to late to stop the shipping I can return the package at no shipping charge.  Maybe she was a new postal worker and still learning her stops.

Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

Personally, we just need delivery people to read.

If it's "Whispering Winds" they look over "Street, Drive, Circle, whatever.  I quit returning that mail, marked it "delivered to wrong address" and put it back.

I caught a Fed Ex driver at a delivery, told him the problem, and asked him to speak to his supervisor.  This had gone off and on for years.

Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

I thought they just combined the president birthdays and had a fed holiday Presidents Day. My calendar has it marked as Feb. 19. Nothing marked for Lincoln's birthday today. Hope they pick up my recycling since I already put it out.

Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

Just sick of delivery issues with QVC.    Must be CHEAP for them to keep transferring packages around from UPS to mail, etc.  but I am tired of this.      I cannot even keep up with the tracking numbers to see where items are.       UPS says one thing then Mail innovation nonsense says another.

ALL in all these delivery issues are on ANYTHING we order now.      Nothig comes quickly like it used to.

Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

Indeed a mess.    This handoff ****** from UPS to USPS is causing a lot of missed packages and lost money to QVC too to send replacements.    I have pictures and labels of the HUGE mess I had this week when I received expensive Plumbing supplkies from the east coast meant for a west coast business.     My small package of course was never received and QVC has to send a replacement.      They lost too.

I had to do a lot of honest leg work to get this expensive plumbing box to the right people who were gratful as they had been missing it for months.      Some lazy UPS or UPS sure post slapped on my label and there you go.     Neither one will take responsiblity for this mess and mix up.

Corporate do you care???   Do you read these???

Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

I'm in the St. Louis area as well, and from what I'm hearing from others and experiencing personally, we have a definite problem here with USPS. From mail sitting for longer than normal at distribution centers to delivery being confirmed yet not delivered, to wrong-house delivery. I've had mail sent to grandsons in one of our suburbs that typically takes anywhere from 3 to 6 days, and sending mail to my cousin in Iowa taking 7 to 8 days. My cousin tells me that mail delivery coming from St. Louis is almost always slow. Many times I'll get notice of a delivery but it's not delivered, to then having it delivered the following day. Go figure!

Re: Post Office Delivery Issue

I'm in a rural area in upstate NY..at least 2 days a week we don't get mail..and I know there should be something ..I subscribe to "informed delivery" for that reason..Iget more "pick up notices" from them ..the mail person is too lazy to come up the driveway.
