I was suppose to get my Philosophy TSV today and when I checked order status I got this message "DUE TO OPERATING CONDITIONS, YOUR PACKAGE MAY BE DELAYED. "  Not really sure what that means.

@Pecky  It means you're not getting it anytime soon.  Both of my delays had that displayed for days.  Smiley Sad

I finally got up the guts to track the last package.   UPS has given up and given it to the post office this morning which means I'll probably get it tomorrow.  Yay!

@Laura14, I'm in the exact same boat with Target.  I ordered 2 things on Cyber Monday.

One was delivered in 2 days. Thank goodness because that was a child's gift that I had to have dropped off to my church Sunday.

The other item was scheduled to be delivered Monday but I don't have it.  When I checked tracking this morning, it is in my local UPS hub but didn't say it was out for delivery today, only that it had arrived there.

As an aside, yesterday morning when I left my house for work at 7:30 a.m., USPS was dropping a package off to the house across the street.  I also saw USPS delivering packages on Sunday.

These drivers are worked to death...my son is "required" now to work up to 12 hours a day and not just around Christmas time.  He is an experienced driver and seldom gets home before 10:00pm.  Last Saturday they called him early in the morning and insisted he work either Saturday or Sunday and the Christmas season is only beginning.in earnest.  For my area, QVC turns the packages over to UPS , they take them to a certain shipping point and then the Post Office receives them for delivery.  I just received a package today that  had been sitting at my local P.O. since Nov. 25; I had to bug them and they finally delivered. my item.  That makes it a total of 10 days that my package was actually there at the local P.O before being delivered.  Before these exchanges took place I would usually receive my packages through UPS a day or two after they were sent from QVC.  By the way, there are many drivers who aren't even getting Christmas help...they are told not enough people are applying for these jobs to take care of the need and the newly hired drivers don't last long.

UPS is working long hours now with christmas.

Fed-ex is same.

Heard from people who live in my town a Fed-ex driver was attacked on one of the streets he was delivering too and beaten up. I heard the "people" who did this wanted his money. All drivers do NOT carry any money while on these runs. have not heard if they caught the crooks.

OK, so they are busy and stuff get's messed up! Since I know a little about this, two key factors...One) these guys do work hard but are paid the best in the industry....2) They get paid overtime and most guys work a 55-60 week during a normal week and they choose to work there!  So you gotta work your butt off to get to the good jobs and when you get there it turns into a career and a great retirement! Sure I feel bad for my UPS Driver that comes to my house and hopefully, he'll appreciate my $25 Christmas gift card to his favorite fast food joint that he gets stuck eating at every day! So just a quick hint...Even the littlest thoughtfulness at Christmas can go a long way during the course of the year...

I ordered from Target over a week ago when they had an online only discount.  They split my order into three deliveries with two set to deliver last week and the last one being for this past Monday.

I got one on time.  The other two got stuck an hour away for days.  I finally just got one this afternoon that they gave up trying to deliver and just gave to the post office which was right on it.

I am still waiting for my third.  Smiley Sad

Target sent me an email to rate my delivery experience a few days ago.  I deleted it because I had nothing nice to say.  They sent it again today and I took them up at their insistence.  I was nice and did type that I know it's a busy time of year but I was still out two of my three deliveries as of this morning and my local store had it in stock.  Online convenience went to extremely inconvenient quickly.

Not sure I'll do any more deliveries until after Christmas.  UPS, you're welcome.

That is why I order from Amazon!!  I received two emails from Amazon; refunded partial payment because my orders were late!!!  And not that late at that...maybe 12 hours late!!  I order from several retail websites, but Amazon CS is the best!!!
