I have a list. lol.

Richard Gere (favorite actor and he is peaceful, grounded)

Paul McCartney ( simply the best! amazing! Id love to talk music with him)

Jon Bon Jovi (also amazing and is always doing good in the world)

Ian Somerholder (to talk to him about his Philanthropy work in reference to helping animals and how to save earth as in becoming more green)

Bill Gates (for his technical brain and his Philanthropy work).

The President (To speak to him about world topics and to ask him how he's dealt with all the criticism the past years)

Do you think the same way about all past Presidents and the criticism that they endured? IMHO it goes with that territory.

I don't recall Senator Barry Goldwater writing a letter to Nikita Krushchev complaining about President Kennedy during the Cuban Missile crisis or Senator George McGovern writing to Ton Duc Thang telling him not to make a deal with Nixon.

No but Ted Kennedy sent John Tunney to Moscow to undermine Reagan.

We're talking about 47 senators writing to an enemy in the midst of serious negotiations saying "pay no attention to our President". I don't know what you're talking about in your reference to Tunney as he wasn't even an elected official during the Reagan years. People keep fishing for similar examples but they just aren't there.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

I actually think what they did was in order. They simply reminded them that it could be undone. If he doesn't like it or the democrats don't like it, too bad. Their own neighbors don't trust Iran and that includes Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Jordan. We are dealing with a country that openly supports Hamas and openly calls for the annihilation of Israel. Congress is exempted by the Logan Act as ruled by the US State Dept when asked about the discussions between Cuban officials and Senators Sparkman and McGovern. Exactly Tunney wasn't an elected official during the Reagan years when he was the go between with Russia. At least the repubs who wrote to Iran are and that protects them. “The clear intent of this provision [Logan Act] is to prohibit unauthorized persons from intervening in disputes between the United States and foreign governments.

And BTW, there was no fishing for that. That was known long before the current admin was in office.

Scoot over! I'd enjoy that conversation.

Keep scooting over, tansy. I'd like to join both of you.

But, I have so many others on my list. My Jon {#emotions_dlg.wub} would be on the top of the list.

LOTS of baseball, hockey and football players would be on the list, as well.

So many peeps................
