My nephew is obsessed with this new game. Have you tried it? Hopefully your homes won't be a "gym" which will result in a million middle school and high school kids wanting to get in.

LOL People of all ages are playing it. The news said it has lead to several dates since it's getting people outside and talking to each other at these various locations.
But to answer the question, No.

@Mellie32---Played it with 10yr old grandson. The game plays in the enviroment you are in. He found 4 inside the house and 2 more in backyard. I think you are safe as far as anyone wanting to trudge through house. A neighbor might find something in your yard but they just point and try to capture ON THEIR OWN PHONE. It is kind of fun. If I had a smartphone, I would play. My 24yr old granddaughter and my DH always watched Pokemon back in the day. I know who a few of them are.

idleness is the devil's workshop I was always taught.
we were kept so busy we didn't have time to chase after silly stuff.
People are being lured to areas where they're jumped then robbed of cash, phones, jewelry and whatever else they can get for free.

I don't get it, would someone explain the game to me ? I'm old school will not be playing this game. I saw on the news where one teen found a dead body and 4 teens were arrested for robbing several people who they loured to a site. Crazy stuff !

just another app to download on your phone all about publicity .
somebody is getting rich off this 'stuff'. Steven King alluded to this long time ago in one of his books. zombie people walking around talking on cellphones. Nothing new.

It's also leading to robberie and peopel getting held up as hackers can trace your whearabouts.
If this is how people need to get outside and talk to each other, we have more problems than we thought.

You're right about that, @AngusandBuddhasMom.
There are two articles about Pokemon Go in our local newspaper. One extols the virtues of the game, meaning that it's good to get outside, move around, talk to people, etc. The other article is in our Health section and it discusses doing stupid things while looking for the creatures: walking out in traffic, falling off your skateboard because you're not paying attention, getting lured into a PokeStop and then getting robbed (it seems that's really happening).
There are people around here who have 90+ characters already.
I'm going to download it during my lunch break today. I walk 3 miles during my lunch break; surely I should find something "out there".

It has nothing to do with hackers tracing anyone, which would mean hackers are getting into your phone or data and learning about your particular whereabouts. PokemonGo is a treasure hunt and everyone with the app can see where the X marks the spot. All someone has to do is wait at any X located in an area with poor visibility and the next person looking for the X can be a target.
As you would without the app, just be aware of your surroundings and don't wander into a low visibility area on your own because anyone can mugged if you duck behind a building or into an alley where others cannot see what happens to you.
