so just because I think my post is the perfect size, font family/font style, or color it might appear very differently on someone else's.
In general, basic and simple font families/font styles are the best choice (some of the fancier ones might show up to some of us as nothing but a jumble of unusual character sets); basic colors are more legible; and the font sizes from 3 to 5 are easier to read.
As others have mentioned, it's important to familiarize ourselves with the way our device/browser allows us to zoom in or out so we can see those posts that might display as really tiny or really enormous.😊
@dooBdoo What font is this? It's very easy to read.

@Mindy D, The post is color "Navy Blue," size "3" and I always let the system assign the default font family/font style.

I assume your view and posting options also depend on which browser you use too, along with which device.
It's no wonder that when some people are having problems here, others are not.

@KathyM23 wrote:@chrystaltree I read every post. I start with "View all forum topics" instead of categories. I have found information or something interesting in categories I would not select to read such as Sports or Recipes.
Wow. That does surprise me. Even if I wanted to read every post, there wouldn't be enough time in my day. I just read what interests me on any given day.

@chrystaltree Some posts I may just skim especially the ones bashing hosts, I just glance over them. Doesn't take alot of time to read the posts as I visit the site several times a day when I sit down to my computer for any reason and most days there are not alot of new posts.
You may be surprised of the useful, helpful things you can find in catagories you would not normally select. I wish I could think of an example of something I learned or was unexpected but of course when I want to think of something, I can't.

I'm guessing that many posters here think if THEY can read small fonts, so can everyone else.
Oi vey.
At this point, I don't think it would be rude to tell someone who posts with a microscopic size font that they are posting something many will find unreadable.
JMO, but I think posting in a very small font is very inconsiderate ... and even rude.

I always use #4, but I realize that if I'm quoting someone and the Poster used a smaller font, then my #4 font changes to the one the Poster used. Wonder why?
