@Desertdi. I've been to the pretty white mission South of Tuscon but it was no pilgramage, more like a tourist junket.

I did see that movie and do recommend it.

There is Craogh Patrick in Ireland..I have been on pilgrimages, but ours is always to a church, that has significant architecture

@Big Sister  Thank you ....I just checked and El Camino was the pilgimage used in the film.  I'm looking forward to viewing.

Watched that movie some years back and LOVED it.  The idea of doing something like that really appeals to me, but I was never very adventurousCat Happy

 

The idea is appealing, but the reality would be another matter!

 

But, the movie was wonderful.
