Sweat confirmed to authorities that the second guard who was arrested knew nothing about their plans - and wasn't working with them on their escape.

The guard had passed a lie detector test.

That is what the woman (I can't remember her name) told them when they arrested her.  Sweat said the same thing.

Didn't she deny she'd been involved with either of them?  Also, I thought she said she did not know they planned to kill her husband. I could have things mixed up with an interview I saw with her husband.

She told her husband that they were planning to kill him and that's why she backed out of picking them up.  She also told her husband that she hadn't been romantically involved with either of them.  I don't know what she told authorities, but they seemed pretty sure that she was involved with one or both of them.

There have been a LOT of local interviews with ex-cons who were either there in Clinton with Matt & Sweat or knew Matt from when he was in Buffalo jails. They KNEW what was "going on."
