Re: Phone Interview on Friday

There are some articles about phone interviews online. The articles have compilations of common questions they ask and other helpful tips. You might want to take a look. Good luck.

Thanks so much! It's always good to be reminded. One gets crazy and forgets stuff.

Work at thinking positive and breathing so as to counteract nervousness.  Maybe you should breathe in front of a mirror as a way to make sure you're not obviously deep breathing during the visit to the company.  Breathing does help with nervousness.  Good luck!

UPDATE. (Please excuse caps.)

To all who kindly offered their support:

I went through the phone interview.

It sounded as if she "wanted me to come in." She is to confer with HR about setting things up.

Nothing is set in stone.  BTW, there was a typo in my resume. (Word didn't save the change.) I apologized, but they talked to me anyway. It appears that the job will have a lot of CS and smoothing ruffled feathers. We shall see.

I will keep you posted.

They tell you when there is a typo?  I didn't know that. If you are an editor/writer/ proofreader that would be a problem.

Re: Phone Interview on Friday

They didn't tell me there was a typo. I found it after the fact.

It was a docx. and it looked fine before I sent it off. But I looked at it again, the change hadn't taken. It wasn't a mispelling.  My other resume had been posted and that was fine.

The recruiter didn't toss it out. Neither did the hiring manager.  I said that the change I had made to the document didn't take. But I had owned up to it.

If she hadn't wanted to call me, she didn't have to.   She said that was OK. "It happens." We'll see.
