Pfinal Pfizer Shot Today - Pfully Vaccinated and Pfeeling Pfabulous

Pfriends, I got my second Pfizer shot today. It all went much quicker than the pfirst one, though I was pleased to see there was still a bit of a line, and we were early.

My arm doesn't even hurt yet. I'm sure it will later today and probably tomorrow. Besides my pfunny new spelling idiosyncrasy, I'll update with any other Pfizer side effects.

I am so PFREAKING relieved, I can't tell you. I am so grateful pfor all the wonderful scientists and epidemiologists and medical professionals who all worked so hard pfor so long to make my happiness and relief right now possible. THANK YOU! You don't know how much you have helped.

@Porcelain   I am not a fan of Big Pharma, but thoroughly agree with your gratitude for the scientists who have worked so hard on this vaccine.

Under doctors' orders, I had been under strict quarantine since last March.  After I received the 2nd Moderna shot, my granddaughter came to spend a night at Grandma's.  At our dinner table prayer, we thanked God for the scientists who had made our time together again possible.

P.S.  I hope you dodge the infamous 2nd shot side effects.

Good for you!!!!  I finished weeks ago and finally am seeing family and friends once again while still being safe.  I am grateful for the vaccine and sorry for those who choose not to get it.  But for those of you who did, thank you!!!!!!!!!

To celebrate, I'm getting some nice cute new Vionic walking sandals. New going out to dinner and lunch and shopping with pfriends shoes!

On the 24th, when my 2 weeks post pfinal shot are up, DH and I are going out to dinner.

One group of relatives who were supposed to visit next month canceled. But now I have two different groups of relatives who want to come and stay here in June!

I get to have my people back again! I have missed my people so much. I need my alone time and I need my people time.

I pfeel like I just pressed the unpause button on my life. A bit of an exaggeration, yes, but one that points at a real truth pfor me.

Happy for you, @ Porcelain!

My husband and I go on Thursday.   Anxious to get it over with.  It'll be a relief.

No side effects from the first Pfizer shot.  Hope we'll be as lucky this time.  We know many people who had no side effects other than a bit of a sore arm after the 2nd (Pfizer) one   Hope we''ll  (and you) will be as lucky.

I bought a new jumpsuit this weekend to wear on our first dinner out, on May 27th. Smiley Happy

I'm getting the second Pfizer tomorrow. Looking forward to two weeks after that.

Things are going very well where I live in terms of percentage of people vaccinated. More and more capacity limit increases. Many walk in vaccine sites too, no appointments necessary.

I got the 2nd Pfizer shot today also! At around 10:00am- feeling fine. I did take a tylenol and am drinking lots of water. (Hydration recommended by the vaccine staff) Right now it's almost 7pm, so far so good.
