We (my street) used to have a lady who walked her dog twice a day and would drop a plastic poop bag down the sewer grate (where the rain runs into) in front of my neighbors house every blessed day twice a day. They were piling up down in there. Finally one of the neighbors discreetly followed her to her house then reported her to city hall. The city, this was a couple of years ago, now has a sign about not not putting anything down the grate. However the sign is small and bolted or whatever into the side of the curb where nobody would see it unless you're walking in the street. In any case I guess the city contacted her because shortly after that no one saw her walk this way again.

Around here the property between the curb and the sidewalk is considered public property. That's why any trees on it are maintained by the city. Of course this doesn't excuse people being rude since the homeowner still has to maintain it. 

My opinion is dogs shouldn't pee on flowers or plants, garbage bins, leaf bags or really anything that someone is going to have to pick up. Grass on the tree line I think is acceptable.

where I live dogs are not allowed to go on public or private property.  I would call the code officer and ask about that    a dog going on a tree does not help it in any way  and it stinks    dogs should not go on someones lawn where someone is going to have to mow it

@Carmie do you have a sprinkler system? You could use that at a certain time of day.  I had a neighbor who did this.

@Snoopp   No, I  never water my grass.  I wouldn't want to shower the children.  I just wish they would be more respectful of my property.

When I was first married, There was a young beautiful lady who's husband was a truck driver.  He would be gone for days.

She would often wear a Band-Aid size bikini and strut through everyone's lawn all day and usually into the early evening.  She had a great body and she knew it.  The men would all sit out on their patio to get a glimpse of her.

I set up a sprinkler system in our yard and turned it on manually and soaked her down., I wasn't nice, I know.  She never walked through our yard again and I noticed that a few other neighbors also did the same.

I actually felt bad after I did it. I was really young...20 years old and I was a bit jealous.  It did work though.

What does being fashion-forward have to do with dragging your dog into the store with you? If you're dressed in a silk blouse and wool trousers you can take your dog in with you but not if you're wearing your sweat pants & hoodie?
