I haven't signed anything, but I've only bought cage-free eggs for at least the past 15 years.

I used to donate eggs to the wildlife rescue center where I volunteered (they're a great treat for all kinds of animals, including river otters); I always paid that bit extra and got the cage-free ones. My Dad used to say, "If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well".

Hi Emmy-

I applaud this. And you! Even if one is not a vegetarian or fully on board with knowing what REALLY goes into our food production, the egg (and chicken) industry is just horrific. Cage Free eggs (NOT just organic, that means nothing about how the chickens are kept) are a great way to feel that you are not contributing to any more misery than one has to.

I have not heard of that organization so will be sure to read about them. I'm a supporter of IFAW, and ARC. Animals are my true passion.
