Any one watching?  I guess the peak is between the 9 and 13th of this month according to what I read.

 

Years ago my sister would come up for the weekend and we took lawn chairs into the middle of the yard. We would watch until the wee hours.  No city light to interfer with the show. I would take a glass of wine, sister had her sugar free drink and out we went.

 

Funny, the silly things you did that were fun.

 

I might as well use my insomnia to watch the show.  Heaven knows I'm awake 1/2 the night.  No yard now, just on the porch.

We had an extra big, bright meteor a couple nights ago that got everyone's attention.  Many people somehow got pictures if it which we're on TV.  This is the meteor in the sky, not the moon.

@Kachina624  I saw almost this identical sky outside my home last night, but I thought it was the moon.  Thanks for the pic!  The sky was magnificent.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
