I don't want to know what he does with his pens.

Nor do I.

How fecal matter got on his pen is certainly his own business {#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

And, I also use my own pen whenever possible. I don't have good feelings about taking a pen from the can in the doctor's office, or borrowing a pen in the bank or library.

I always have my little bottle of hand sanitizer with me. There is not much you can do about touching things short of wearing gloves. Restaurant menus, buffet serving spoons and millions of other things are full of germs. Even the money in our wallets is filthy. That's life.

VanSleepy, your joke was very funny.{#emotions_dlg.lol}

He said that MY pen was covered in MY fecal matter too...but he was nice about it and said that everyone's pens have it!

I prefer to use my own pens whenever I can.

I always had a supply of pens available to my clients for filling out and signing documents, and kept my personal pens separate. My associates did the same thing.

I don't see anything odd about it.

ETA: Gross as it seems, fecal matter is found on just about every surface we touch.

I try to use my own pen whenever possible. I would never make a comment like the fella made to the op. Very odd.

i dont worry about these types of things, but i know a number of the people on these boards alone have a list of items they dont use or touch......

not picking up magazines in drs offices

always wearing slippers or shoes in a hotel room

bringing your own sheets/towels to hotels

never touching railings

only using a towel one time and then throwing it in to be washed

not touching shopping carts without wiping them down

not touching the doorknobs or faucets in a public bathroom

Oh, Sunshine... I'd love to see all sorts of lists from you on things you've compiled about people in these forums. You're too too funny!!!! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

{#emotions_dlg.sneaky}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}{#emotions_dlg.lol}

trust me, that list could have been MUCH longer!

I just can't be concerned about what might be on a pen, pencil, etc.

I know people who are the biggest germaphobes and are constantly dousing themselves in antibacterial soap. They are the sickliest people I know and come down with everything.

for those of you who use the ATMS to do your banking.....just remember all of the thousands of strangers who have been there before you.
