Reminds me of a joke...A nurse stops at the bank on her way home from work. She reaches in her pocket and she pulls out a rectal thermometer. And she says, "Oh sh... Where's my pen?"

I always stop and think when people, (hopefully) wash their hands at the restaurant rest room-then come out and use the same salad bar spoons and condiments/S&P that everyone else has handled. Then they eat a burger or fries, (finger food). Yuck! It may not be a concern for someone with a good, strong immune system-but for some....

I don't want to know what he does with his pens.

Well, we know where he keeps them. {#emotions_dlg.devil2}

You guys are slayin' me! I read terrier's story & thought..."Dammmmmmm, Dude!" "Ah, sir...how DOES one get fecal matter on a pen?". Ignorance is Bliss.

I didn't question him about it either!!!!

Fate whispers to her, "You cannot withstand the storm." She whispers back, "I am the storm."

by the way, placing a spoon inside a dish of jelly beans or m&ms doesnt mean people are going to use the spoon OR that the spoon doesnt touch their dirty hands and then goes back into the dish.

It's in my home...NOT on a desk at work.

but even having it in your home doesnt mean people are going to use the spoon.

That's it....I'm not sharing my M&Ms anymore - all the more for ME!!!!

i dont worry about these types of things, but i know a number of the people on these boards alone have a list of items they dont use or touch......

not picking up magazines in drs offices

always wearing slippers or shoes in a hotel room

bringing your own sheets/towels to hotels

never touching railings

only using a towel one time and then throwing it in to be washed

not touching shopping carts without wiping them down

not touching the doorknobs or faucets in a public bathroom

Oh, Sunshine... I'd love to see all sorts of lists from you on things you've compiled about people in these forums. You're too too funny!!!! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Some people may dip the spoon into the m&ms and then bring it right up to their mouth and eat them right off the spoon!!! eeeeeeek{#emotions_dlg.w00t}

Pens are dirty because they often roll off tables and onto floors where people have walked into various not-so-clean things. I always bring my own pen to the bank, pharmacy, med. office, etc. Always.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
