{#emotions_dlg.blink}..... You mean to tell me that no one wears a pen around their neck.... {#emotions_dlg.mellow}..... I learned this early on when I first started working. More than likely you will need a pen at some point during the day..... AND, at some point during the day, you are going to put your pen down and walk off, or someone is going to swipe it.

All of these problems are solved when you wear your pen around your neck with a lanyard! Do you know how much this has helped me while grocery shopping? And you don't need to worry about someone else's fecal matter ever getting on your pen if you only keep it around your neck or in your purse when not in use.

It can't be any easier than that. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a pen with a lanyard!

I've never worn a pen around my neck, either. I really can't imagine a reason why I would want to, either. If I find myself in a scenario where I need a pen I'll either have it in my hand or I'll know that there is one in my purse and one in my car, assuming I'm not at home.

But, hey, if a pen around the neck is something that is helpful to somebody else - more power to ya! Smiley Happy

I not only use pens supplied in doctor's offices, Post Offices, etc, but I invariably go off with them, having forgotten they are not mine.

I tend to get quite frosted when the PO pens aren't working, which they never are at my PO.

No one carries their own pen on a lanyard? It's so convenient! You will ALWAYS have your own personal pen on hand, no one else can use it because you're wearing it around your neck. I'm surprised these aren't more popular.

pens with accessories pens with lanyard pens with key chain pens with ...

Probably because they are a major fashion Don't?{#emotions_dlg.blink}{#emotions_dlg.bored}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}{#emotions_dlg.mellow}

Hey, that's a great idea! Maybe a filigree design. I recall Joan Rivers designing beautiful magnifying glass necklaces. They were quite popular. Replicas of Victorian jewelry.

I've been to get-togethers where there were spoons in dishes of loose candies. Along with small cups so the youngsters could spoon out their candies/candy and drop them into their cups. Very cute idea, and very cute watching them. Better than tiny hands directly into the bowls of candy.

The Mayo Clinic is offering fecal transplant treatments to patients with relapsing CDif (yes it is what you think it is).

So maybe public pens are just a little way of making sure we all get our daily transplants.

Now I need to go empty my brain of this image.
