I agree, goodstuff.

The places with the worst outbreaks are hospitals, where conditions are ultra sanitized.

I'm a wild child.

I

touch restroom door handles

walk barefoot in a hotel room

I drink out of their cups

I shower barefoot

I use the remote

sleep in the hotel bed

rest my head on the hotel pillows

touch shopping cart handles

put my purse on the floor

read the magazines in a doctors office

use the first sheets of toilet paper in a public restroom

touch elevator buttons with my finger

hold on to the railing of an escalator

hold on to the railing as I am going up or down stairs

use the stylus when signing for something

touch the keypad at an ATM, or other public places where I use my debit card

and yes, I'll even use a pen with my bare hands!

That's true, the worst outbreaks and infection rates are in hospitals, because people are in charge of sterilization and infection control practices and they don't follow them.

I don't avoid pens. I know someone who does, not specifically because of fecal matter.

I don't worry about public pens. The only way they are likely to do me harm is if germs from those pens come in contact with my face and/or mouth.

I wash my hands immediately before handling food or touching food I am about to ingest. I wash my hands after using the bathroom, and I open the door of a public restroom with a paper towel in hand on my way out. I also keep my hands away from my face in general.

All I can do is what makes sense...beyond that, eff it. I have other things to worry about.

Mistri?!? Where have you been woman?{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I've been hibernating...or doing yoga...whatever you think I'm doing in this pic...

LoL

Ugh...totally. And they must be socks you are willing to throw away, because they will be black on the bottoms before you check out. {#emotions_dlg.blink}

No one carries their own pen on a lanyard? It's so convenient! You will ALWAYS have your own personal pen on hand, no one else can use it because you're wearing it around your neck. I'm surprised these aren't more popular.
