I use Paypal.   Sometimes my credit card has a Paypal transaction charge, but it doesn't appear on my Paypal activity account.  Before I call Paypal, I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.  Thanks...

Sometimes I've noticed it takes PP a while to post some of my cc transactions. Maybe that could be why...?

No. I have never noticed a transaction charge on my cc using Paypal.

I wonder if when you use Paypal the business you are buying from has to pay a fee to use Paypal like the fee they pay when people use a credit card? If they do some companies may choose to charge the customer for that fee. I would want to know what this fee is for also. Let me know when you find out. I use Paypal a lot.

Through eBay, as a seller, there is a nominal PayPal fee...but I’m not sure how that works because I can’t remember right off?

I see that now and then.  It seems to be like a place marker.  I have never been charged the $1.  It happens on credit cards, too, sometimes.  Same thing.  It doesn't hit the bill, just the pending section.

sometimes that has happened to me. sometimes it take awhile for everything to catch up.

I sometimes see small dollar amounts from pp in "pending" on my cc - but then they don't go through - just the actual charge.  I wonder if this is some sort of holding feature - or a check to see if the account is real - or something.
