I stopped at the local McDonald's this morning for a coffee....went through the drive-thru window. When I got to the pay window, the young man handed me a receipt and told me the lady in the car ahead paid for my coffee. I was so pleasantly surprised! I've never had that happen to me! I have done it for others (we live in a military town) and I have paid tabs anonymously several times for military folks dining out. But to have it happen to me was a new experience! I got a chance to thank the young woman since she had pulled over to give the food to her passengers. I drove by her and verbally thanked her.
