Re: Pat’s First TSV Kick Off.

Excellent observation!

Kim is a seasoned performer and entertainer and skilled professional.  It's a noteworthly broadcasting skill to adapt to each host successfully.   It's no wonder she is an extremely valuable QVC asset.

Kim also said her plane was late and she touched down at 10:30 pm.  So she had to speed to the QVC studio, get changed, makeup, and miked up to go on air at midnight.  That would make anyone a little off-kilter.  Pat even asked her if she needed to sit down for a minute (Kim sat for about 5 seconds, then popped back up in her true energetic style).

Considering all that, Kim was a true professional and gave her usual great show.

Kim is a hoot and very entertaining with every host. She has quite a collection of clothing, beauty and decor which seems very popular.

Re: Pat’s First TSV Kick Off.

I've watched QVC for years and I don't think it is her first "kick off".

On another note I remember her18 kt.shows and the beautiful gowns she wore.

Re: Pat’s First TSV Kick Off.

Pat said it was her very first TSV kick-off.  I don't think she would have said that as a joke, what's the joke?

I cannot remember Jayne Brown or Mary Beth Roe kicking off a TSV either, but perhaps they did many years ago.

Re: Pat’s First TSV Kick Off.

I am on west coast time and have seem lots of kickoffs, starting in the 90s.  If indeed Pat never did one it was not noticeable, at least to me.

I did a double take at midnight, so rare to see Pat at that hour.

I was doing all my pre-bed activities and as I was headed from the kitchen to go brush my teeth I heard her asking Kim to sit down and could she get her somethng to drink.  My thought immediately went to the recent episode where a vendor passed out I think.  I only saw it posted here; I wasn't watching.  But, when I came back in the room she was up so I figured it must not have been anything.

@Caaareful Shopper.  Did you hear Par very quietly, wi5hout fuss, tell Kim "were going to be quiet now so I can get through this"?  I think Pat was trying to give the colors or something. Kim quickly said she would and she did.

I guess that's how Pat works her magic with Susan.

Re: Pat’s First TSV Kick Off.

I turned in at midnight to catch the TSV.  While I don't usually watch a full show of Kim's, I noticed that she was much more subdued (if that is possible) with Pat.  I think Pat has a much more peaceful way of presenting.  I knew she wasn't going to fall into the antics that some of the other hosts do with Kim.  She did a pretty good job of staying on point.  Afterall, she has had years of learning how to handle Susan Graver.

When Nancy Yoon and Alaina (sp?) did their walk on, I thought that they seemed a bit "relaxed" if you know what I mean.  When they started all the love talk, how the minute you walk into QVC you can feel the love, and the age of possibilites, I clicked off and went to bed.

I agree with another poster that said you could buy 3 of the TSVs  - polyester pullover blouses - at TJ MAXX.  This TSV is really no value.  You would think they would at least give free shipping.
