I think that's a wonderful idea!  How sweet and thoughtful of you.  I also think it's nice that you're honoring your husband's wishes about not having a party.  So often people do what they think they would want, not really considering the other person.  I don't have any additional suggestions, but you've done a great job and received some good ideas.  Good luck with everything.  Smiley Happy

I completely agree - It's super-thoughtful, creative, and loving.  I think your party box sounds perfect.

@cherry, that's exactly what I did for by BFF's 50th.  I got the movie on DVD that was #1 at the box office when she was born.  I got her the NY Time's #1 best seller , the #1 toy came from ebay.  I got her a model car from 1960, etc.   It was fun researching, putting it all together and she was tickled pink.
